Icepocalypse 2011

That's what they're calling it. That, or Snowmageddon. Although it really doesn't look all that bad when I looked out the window earlier. But trust me. That "snow" you see is ice.

I'm actually one of those weird people that loves a good snowstorm. Blizzard? I say, BRING IT! But ice? And potential power outages? Not so much. Jason still has to work (he just called to say he got there okay. Whew!), so if anything goes wrong in the night, it's all on me. Thank goodness we have 2 gallons of milk, flashlights, batteries, and a fireplace that doesn't require us to have power to work. And family that live down the street.

Check out the icicle hanging from our hot tub:

The kids didn't have school today and it's been cancelled for tomorrow. So we've enjoyed a nice lazy day at home. The news has been on most of the day. I'm always amazed at the news guys that stand out in the crazy weather to do their reporting, as if that's really necessary.

The kids have been in p.j.'s all day. Blake was sitting in Lexi's chair earlier, and I about melted when she crawled up and plopped herself in his lap. Although, to be honest, I don't think it was because she wanted to snuggle with her brother. I think she just wanted her chair back.

Tuesday is usually our (Aunt) PaulaDay, but since we didn't make it down there, we made brownies in her honor.

And the boys decided they needed to add sprinkles.

And then it was time to put in a movie. So I introduced the kiddos to the Little Rascals. They loved it!

And baths for everyone. (Lexi actually got two today. Why not? She loves them!)

Hope my parents are having a wonderful time in Naples. Hmph.
